Year 2000 Compliance statement

All of Quantara Software Corporation's products, including ParaGrafixtm, ParaWebtm and their optional modules, and all releases are Year 2000 compliant. Provided that internal date calculations are used properly when solutions are implemented using these products and when used exclusively with Year 2000-compliant products (e.g., Microsoft Windows®), they will not produce date data errors.

Users should be aware of a difference between Release 2.1 and prior releases when using the YEAR function.

Release 2.0 and earlier:

In Release 2.0 and earlier versions, the YEAR function returns the number of years since 1900. Thus in the year 1999, YEAR() returns the number 99 and in the year 2000, YEAR() will return the number 100. If you are displaying the year on documents or are using it for any date calculations you must add 1900 to the number returned by YEAR() to make your applications fully Year 2000 compliant.

Release 2.1:

In Release 2.1, the YEAR function returns a full four digit year number. In the year 1999, YEAR() returns the number 1999 and in the year 2000, YEAR() will return the number 2000. Release 2.1 also incorporates all of the date calculation functionality of Microsoft Exceltm, including serial numbers for dates.
